Visit the “Tunnel of Hope” to help you understand the tunnel’s crucial role for the city and its inhabitants during one of the most difficult times in Sarajevo’s history. Visit the abandoned bobsleigh track (built in 1984 for the Winter Olympics in the former Yugoslavia. The country opened its doors to the international community to celebrate the sport; after the breakup of Yugoslavia, the bobsleigh track was used as a base for artillery during the long siege of Sarajevo);
→ Walking city tour of Sarajevo (2-3 hours)

DAY 3 | MOSTAR AND BLAGAJ, BOSNIA

Visit the Blagaj Tekija (Dervish Monastery from 16th-century Dervish built into the cliffs next to the Buna River; Buna Spring, a karst spring with crystal-clear water and the surrounding natural beauty located beneath the cliffs near the Tekija.

Visit the Stari Most (Mostar Bridge), which stood for 427 years until its destruction in 1993 during the Croatian–Bombosniak war. DAY 7 | SAINT STEPHAN ISLAND, MONTENEGRO AND THETH, ALBANIA

→ Transfer to Sveti Stefan (30 min)
A short walk around Sveti Stefan (a Picturesque island, originally a 15th-century fishing village, transformed into a fortified village in the 20th century. In the 1960s, it became a high-end resort attracting celebrities and prominent figures worldwide.
→ Transfer to Theth, the first National Park of Albania (3 hours + border)
→ Take a nature walk in the park (7 km with some easy climbing) to visit some of the natural attractions, such as the Grunas Waterfall, Grunas Canyon, and Qafe Thore viewpoint.

→ Transfer to Shkoder, Albania (3 hours + border).
→ City tour of Shkoder (1 hour)
Visit the Xhamia e Madhe – Ebu Bekr mosque and the Shkoder fortress (Rozafa Castle), a centuries-old, historic, and legendary fortress. It has panoramic views of Lake Shkodra, the Drin River, and the Albanian Alps.
